Acceptable Use Policy

NexEd ERP is used to manage sensitive educational and administrative workflows. This policy helps keep schools, families, and students safe.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines rules for using NexEd ERP's Services, including web apps, mobile apps, and APIs.
The AUP applies to administrators, staff, teachers, parents/guardians, students, and any third parties granted access by a customer organization.

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or data.
Uploading, transmitting, or distributing malware, spyware, ransomware, or harmful code.
Using the Services to harass, abuse, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate against individuals.
Scraping, bulk exporting, or collecting personal data beyond what is permitted by your role and applicable law.
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to discover source code, except where permitted by law.
Interfering with the normal operation of the Services (e.g., DDoS, excessive requests, circumvention of rate limits).

You must follow the principle of least privilege and only access data required for legitimate educational or administrative purposes.
You must protect credentials and enable available security features such as multi-factor authentication where offered.
You must not share student or staff data through unsecured channels or outside approved workflows.

Customer organizations are responsible for ensuring their users understand and follow this AUP.
Customers must ensure that content uploaded to the Services (documents, images, messages) complies with applicable laws and institutional policies.

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action including rate limiting, suspension, or termination consistent with our Terms of Service.
Where feasible, we will notify the customer organization and provide an opportunity to address violations.
